Land's
End Lodges Rental
Pool
Questions
and Answers about optional participation in the Land's End rental
program.
What
is the rental pool?
The
rental pool consists of Land's End Lodge owners who want to generate
income through short term rental of their unit. Owners can earn
substantial income by taking advantage of strong year-round rental
demand for this spectacular beachfront location at the tip of the
Homer Spit.
Land's
End Resort helps owners rent their units for a percentage of rental
income. Families and large groups are frequently interested in large
multi-room suites with cooking facilities which Land's End Resort
does not offer. Land's End Resort includes available Lodges in its
inventory of rooms, and attempts to match guest preference with
availability regardless of ownership.
How
much rental income can I expect annually?
This
depends on several things, such as size, amenities, location, and
how frequently the owner will occupy the Lodge during peak season.
The Lodges rent for between $250 and $400 per night and demand is
very strong year-round due to their limited number, unique location,
and excellent quality.
Who
manages Lodge rentals and what does it cost?
Land's End Resort, a full service 80 unit hotel and restaurant adjacent
to the Lodges, manages the rental pool. When we accept a new property
into the rental pool, we require a signed rental agreement (see
icon below) and an inventory by the owner of all of the personal
property and contents within the Lodge.
Services
are described in detail in the attached rental agreement; they include
daily rental management, cleaning, maintenance, limited advertising
and accounting.
